ididntmeanyou asked: You say: " #how can such a funny as hell episode end in so much pain and suffering? #right it's a Joss Whedon show" my geek comment of the day is: Joss, Russel T Davies, Gattis and Steven Moffat should do a collaboration and break our hearts and psych for ever and ever beyond reppair.

Oh God, they can think up a pseudonym and make a movie together. The PR will make it look like a funny and fluffy show with just a bit of action to attract a large crowd. The first twenty minutes are lighthearted fun with great dialogue and you really start to care for the characters. Then BOOM! It’s the apocalypse. Everybody dies, it’s all inevitable and horrible and full of emotions and we will weep. For days! Then we just gonna tell everybody we know to watch that movie. Heck, we’ll even go with them to see them having the same reaction. Nobody will ever say out loud what that movie is really about until everybody has had the same experience.

And if we need a female element ask Shonda Rhimes for some pointers, she is pretty good with awful heartbreaks as well.

Of course afterwards the internet will explode with fanfiction and every character - that we already hold dear in our hearts and can’t forget the moment the last glimmer of hope in their eyes, while they drowned in sorrow, lava and death - will get a full fledged backstory and we can sit at home and cry some more.

But it will be AWESOME!
